i was revising the topic of animal reproduction during science lesson today.

the kids were shown the animated version of a 40 week baby emerging head first.
one boy asked what would happen if the feet came out first.

i ventured to explain the concept of the c-section. i might have used the words “slice open”.

i have yet to explain epidural. a girl in class was so horrified, she cried.
hopefully she is not scarred for life.
