the weather couldn’t have been more perfect yesterday – clear blue skies and perfect sunlight exposure for photography. journeying there via public transport again, i made my 3rd trip to the dandenong ranges with lp this time. although our stops along the dandenong tourist road were planned according to the bus schedule, it wasn’t a rushed affair, in fact, the timing fitted our activities perfectly.
in summary, we made our way to pie in the sky for lunch, mucked around the nearby national rhododendron gardens for about an hour or two, mused around the shops at olinda village and took a bus down towards miss marples for tea before boarding the 5pm bus back to belgrave station.
although the national rhododendron gardens isn’t as colourful as it would have been in spring or summer, i still managed to get some pretty good shots. actually, not being provided with the opportunity for the usual postcard photos, being challenged to look for interesting shots yields more results.
i’ve themed these few shots fiery winter

and this is my photo of the day
