on till 14 october, the pixar exhibition is showing at the australian centre for the moving image (acmi). its really really good, and only $10 for students. its not just about looking at the story board framed up in the walls, there are also completed hand drawn and coloured artist’s impression scenes from the animated features.also check out the zoetrope and artscape displays. its so complex that i will not try to even explain or describe what it is. and without saying, you’ll be able to watch the short earlier pixar productions and often feature in the movies just before a pixar cartoon.
and of course being a sucker for edna mode, i had to have the edna mode tee together with the exhibition catalog. i’m so going to catch ratatouille – the only pixar feature film i have not watched.

check out a few other pictures of the exhibition.
