death by paper cut

{June 10, 2007}   “Hello Possoms!”

today i tried to get myself distracted from certain nagging anxieties by getting some air and sunlight.

on my rounds in the city, i found a small alley along little collins street, near the upriding escalator to lincraft, that has been dedicated to damn edna everage aka barry humphries called dame edna place. the cute touch that the special signboard has at this alley is that it has been bordered with little light bulbs. the ground of this alley has been embedded by silver stars, but in antithesis to the alluded brilliance of the tribute to the melbourian icon is that the lane is used for none other than dumpster parking.

after picking up tourist brochures to occupy me in the winter days, i settled down to savour a cup of coffee and a book – a short history of tractors in ukrainian (recommended by the geek)
